Revelation 3;10
Because thou hast kept the Word of My Patience !
You claim a Promise of
God,and then have patience until it manifests itself.
Abraham was given a promise
of having a Son by Sarrah,and every year things got worse,and
then when we confess the
Word,and it don't happen then,we are dis-appointed,when we live in a
world of instant this,and
instant that,with push-buttons for this and that,all makes it harder for
a person to hang on to
Faith......Don't look at your surroundings,but look at the Promise.
You are not able,but look at
the One that is Able...Your ability may fail,but His ability can't ever
fail in any way shape form
or fashion.
There is someone standing
for you,as He took our place,and God is looking at Him that is in your
place...In the Old
Testament,when a person brought a Sacrifice to the Preist,the Preist never did
look at the person,but
looked at the Sacrifice if it was perfect,so it could be accepted....That was a
Type but what about us
living in the real thing?...Under the Blood of Bulls and Goats opened the Red
Sea,but what about the Blood of the Son of God,what it can open?
Hebrews 6;16-----For men
verily swear by the GREATER: and an oath for C
ONFIRMATION IS
TO THEM AN END
OF ALL STRIFE !
This is where we
have an anchor sure and steadfast that enters within the veil and secures us.
What am I trying
to say by this?...Let me explain this way------Say you are trying to get a loan
from a bank,and
you are having strife with the bank in giving you the loan....so you get a
greater
person with a
greater name,and he signs his name next to your name,and it is the end of all
the
strife with the
bank,and you get your loan.....God could swear by No greater,so He swore by
Himself,as it is
impossibe for Him to lie.....Do you see it?
Look at verse 16
once again-------For men verily swear by the greater: For what reason? The rest
of the verse
says for an oath by that other person,swearing to stand by you to end your
strife in
getting what you
are asking for....See that?....So Jesus is standing by you,and telling you that
He
has given His
promise to answer prayer to Him that is asking in faith with patience.
Tribulation
worketh patience,as you wait on God to Keep His Word to you,and He can't
fail,as
He can't lie,so
hang on,the answer is on its way...If one grain of sand moves from your
mountain,
it is being
moved,but you may not see any difference.
Abraham believed
God,and he got older every year,and it seemed worse every year,but he hung
on with
patience,and you see what happened,and that is written as an example for us.
Remember that
this verse is just after God says this----Therefore leaving the priniples of
the Doctrine of Christ,let us go on to Perfection; not laying again the
foundation of repentence from dead works,and of Faith toward God,of the
droctrine of baptism,and of laying on of hands,and of the resurrection of the
dead,and of eternal judgement,and this will we do,if God permit.....Then
after this God
brings in the going on to perfection....See that?.....If you fall flat on
your face,so what ! Get up brush yourself off,and start again.It is not how
many times you fall,but how many times you get up,and start again on the pathway
of God.
