(Very Special Statements of Quotes about Sincerity spoken

By The Prophet of God Messenger for this age,William Branham).

147    Drunk on the Spirit... If the Holy Ghost can just pour into you till you're so drunk you forget what your name is, till you forget all your doubts, get you so drunk on the Spirit till you forget your doubts (Amen.), then you can get somewhere with God. Then the cry, "once more," goes up from the sincerity, and then...?... Hallelujah. Fill with the Holy Ghost, these drunk on the Spirit; God's righteousness, and holiness, and power, get you so drunk till you forget who you are. You're nothing to begin with. Remember, God wants to come into you. "Once more, Lord, once more. Once more, Lord, once more."

285    While they continue playing, I want to ask... Every age has been the same. In the days of Noah those who rejected the Light, what did they do? Walked out into God's judgment. What happened to Pharaoh in the days of the Light of the burning bush that was in Moses? Walked into the sea of death. What happened to Dathan who started and then rejected the Light? Walked into the crack of the earth that swallowed him up. What happened in all ages to those who failed to walk in the Light, the Light of the day? It's Jesus all the time. It was Jesus in the days of them men. It's Jesus today, for He is the Word, and the Word makes the Light. It's the Light of the day. Think of it now real quietly while we're--with sincerity ask, "Are you walking in the Light?" While we hum it through again... [Brother Branham begins humming--Ed.]

Beautiful Light!

Comes where the dew drop of mercy are bright.

Shine all around us by day and by night,

Oh, Jesus, the Light of the world.

56    And the man, a good man, a just man, the Bible said he was a just man. But her case was so unusual that he could not grasp it. He would look in her lovely face, and the sincerity and honesty that she would tell her story in. And no doubt but he'd go to his home, or his carpenter shop, say, "I--I just can't see how she would tell me wrong, but the case is so unusual."

If he would've only searched the Scriptures, that a virgin is to conceive... See, it was so unusual to him, because it was out of the line of his thinking, but she was exactly in the Scripture.

And so is it today, brethren, that the power of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and His promised Word of this hour is so unusual, good men stumble over it. It's too unusual. They say the--the dead was raised up, the blind see, the deaf hear, the Holy Spirit discerns the thoughts, foretells things that's coming to pass, never failed it one time. Oh, they--they can't--can't grasp it. It's so unusual, so they--they say, "Well, it's a telepathy, or it's a evil spirit," just like they did in that day. The unusualness of the Word of God...

122    But those who stood there in the ecclesiastical robes, with all kinds of dignity, and all kinds of perverting the Word into different things, and making It with no sincerity in it, just so they belonged to the church, they was the one that claimed to have light. And the light blackened what light they had. Like you trying to hold a flashlight in the sun, put the sun out. See?

Why won't a flashlight put the sun out? Why won't any other light? There's no light can put the sun out. Why? It's the Word of God made manifest. God said, "Let there be light." And that's God's light. It's God's Word manifested. Here He come.

No creed, denomination, no pope, priest, or whatever it is, or doctor of divinity, no organization, no nation, no nothing will ever put out the manifestated Light of God. When the Word is spoken, she comes to life and going to do that what It said It would do. No creed can stand around it. No nothing can stand around it, but Light itself, and those who'll walk in It.

That's Jesus Christ raised from the dead, here manifesting Hisself among us, and we walk in Him. There's nothing can stop it. "Heavens and earth," Jesus said, "will pass away," but It won't.

166    I--I do that with sincerity, and yet, Lord, you must be stern. We know to correct is love. Love is corrective. And I pray, for that's the reason that You corrected Your people, was because You loved them, and every sin has to be answered for.

And, Father, I pray that You will forgive our sins now, as we confess them. We have wandered far away, Lord. I'm identified with these Pentecostal people, Lord. I--I'm one of them. And I--I pray, God, that--that You'll forgive us all. And take some of these leaders and turn them around, and--and let them look towards Calvary there once, and then they'll forget about what they have to be, a presbyter or a bishop, or whatever it might be, and know that we're no big ones in this Kingdom. We're all children of God. I pray that You'll help us now. Identify Yourself among us today. We ask in Jesus Christ's Name. Amen.

E-30    Still doing all their sacrifices... When God asked them to offer lambs and bullocks and so forth. A man, a fine Jew, walked down the road with a fatted bullock or--or a little lamb under his arm, on the day of the atonement, went down to offer it for his sin, he was sincere when he killed that lamb, and the priest stabbed it, and he held his hands upon it, knowing that life was taken to save his life. He was sincere in it. And as long as he was sincere, it was all right.

But the time come when it become a family tradition. Then God said... He sent a prophet on the scene by the name of Isaiah. He said, "Your sacrifice and solemn feasts stink in My nose." That's where we people have got. We join church, which is all right. We do those things. But you say, "Are you a Christian?"

"I'm Methodist."

"I'm Baptist."

"I'm Presbyterian."

"Pentecostal," or something else.

It's a tradition. There's no entering it sincerity anymore. They won't move up, cope up with the Scriptures and things. They just live any way they want to. If they got a pastor tries to correct them, they out him. They have nothing to do with him if he can't bring Hollywood in the church: parties, bunko parties, soup suppers, and everything else. Let the women act any way they want to, dress any way they want to, immorally, anything. Sex appeal becomes a modern trend. It's a disgrace.

E-68    Look at back in history, when you're reading this when you go home. What had happened to Israel? She'd got the same where--place we are. They had called... All their sacrifices and things had become a tradition to them. There was no sincerity. They didn't honor the Word of God. That's when God raised up Isaiah to tell him them sacrifices stunk in His nose. He didn't want them. They were blasphemy to Him and He didn't want no more to do with them.
