Timothy 3;1—This know also, that in the last days Perilous
Times shall come.
2----For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous,
boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
Now most people think right away, when God says in the last
days, that Perilous Times
Shall come, they think of
Tornadoes, Hurricanes, the Crime Wave, Inflation, Earthquakes, wars and
such….That is not what the Scriptures are saying at all. Look at
How the Scriptures read
themselves….Here we go---This know also, that in the last days,
Perilous Times shall Come….Now
notice the next words; FOR MEN….see
that? God is
Not telling you of natural Perils
FOR THE NATURAL MAN, BUT PERILS FOR THE
INNER MAN !
Notice verse 5----Having a Form of Godliness….those
Perils…But denying the Power
Thereof: from such turn away..
Now every church and every Pastor does not deny the Holy
Ghost, but they deny this
Scripture, or that Scripture,
or all their Doctrines would be the same…So the Power of
God they deny is not the Holy
Ghost, as the Holy Ghost is Who God is in the Spirit, but
What is the Power of the
Spirit, but the Scriptures, the very Word of God.
You see every church and every preacher confesses they have
the Holy Ghost, so you see the Holy Ghost is not what they deny.
The Holy Ghost is not the Power of God, as the Holy Ghost is God in the
Spirit, and His Power is when He speaks..See that? Now in Romans 1;16 says this;
Paul said he was not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the Power of God for
Salvation to the Jew First, and also to the Greek..Even in Luke 1;17 speaks of
John the Baptist coming in the Spirit and Power of Elias. Notice in the Spirit
and Power…Spirit and Power..Thank God for Truth..Bible Truth.
Verse 7---Ever learning, and never able to come to the
knowledge of the Truth. Those
Perils….Ever learning, and
never able to come to the Knowledge of the Power of God,
As in the beginning, God said,
and there it was, and done by His Power, the Spoken Word of the Living God……
Notice verse 8---Now as Janes and Jambres withstood Moses, so
do these also resist the
Truth: men of corrupt minds,
reprobate concerning THE FAITH !
So God said the PERILS
of men teaching the Word with some Words left out, or some words added to the
Truth of God, as a plain lie deceives no one, but has to have part of
The Scriptures mixed with it
for people to be deceived.
Now what were the PERILS
in the days of Noah? The Sons of God mixed up with the
Daughters of men, and failed to
Know the Power of God being Spoken to them by Noah.
The Power of God’s
Deliverence to be on the Ark with Noah.
What were the PERILS
in the days of Elijah?…Ahab and Jezebell and they had 850 false Prophets. 1
Kings 18;19. The King of Israel now mind you…Not worldy things at all, but
Men in what they taught the
people.
What were the PERILS in
the days of John the Baptist, Jesus and the Apostles but the Fare-you-sees and
the Sadd-you-sees, as they tried to catch Him in His Words, and they
Finally killed Him.
So now you can now that the PERILS
for your Salvation are churches and preachers
in what they teach..
In Chiefland, Florida, a small town has about 45 different
Churches listed in the Local Paper, and how in the name of common sense be the
language of a Holy God who only has one way of saying and doing?
Now God will save anyone in any church that will Love His Word
enough to let it be lived out in their life..God’s people don’t fight flesh
and blood, but Doctrines contrary to Scripture, sound doctrine…Don’t write
off anyone, as who knows who will change tomorrow?
Now what are the PERILS
of a Christian? First and foremost, he has a body that has in
It the Nature of the Serpent
that he must crucify, and when he is born again, he needs to
Yield his members to God, as
whosoever you yield your members to, is your servant. So
The PERILS
then
are like Jesus said, he must deny himself and follow Jesus, as if he takes his
own life, he will lose it..You see you have been given a life in the flesh, and
if
You take that life in the flesh
and live it out to the end, you will lose it. So you refuse that
Life in the flesh, and give
yourself to Jesus where He can live His Live through you, and
That way you will save your
life to be lived in the next world to come.
So the two main PERILS people
are in danger of are, your own natural desires, and then
The other PERILS
are
any doctrines contrary to sound doctrine.
Notice the PERILS listed
in 11 Tim.3- lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural effection,
trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are
good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.
Then The Form that looks outwardly like the real thing..A
Church, a Pastor, a building,
And from all outward
appearances, looks good. Some folks think if a building painted white with
church wrote on it is of God. It may be, and again it may not be. Is is the
Voice of God, or is it the Voice of the Enemy hid in church clothes? The Bible
has the
Answer, and thank God for that.
Before I leave this, let me ask this question? Can any Natural
Thing be any PERIL to
a
Christian? ……Also, where
are any Earthquakes, Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Inflation,
The Crime Wave, etc., mentioned
in 11 Timothy 3?
I just want to witness to the Truth of God, and let God do
whatever He pleases thereafter.
May this be a blessing, stir Love, and Faith in God’s Holy
Word.

PS..Now you see people can be
mis-led on these PERILS,
as it can be taught this way and
People will accept it, and is
true some-what, but I want to stay with the way God has these PERILS
WRITTEN
FOR Our Learning, and here it is;
God said ,”This know also, that in the last days PERILOUS
times
shall come, FOR MEN-----“ So
it a certain kind of men, and what kind should I beware of? Just what you
See listed here !
Men that are lovers of their own selves ! Men that are Covetous, Men
That are Boasters! Men that are
Proud ! Men that are Blasphemers, Men are disobedient
To Parents ! Men that are
Unthankful ! Men that are Unholy, Men that are Heady. Men that are
Highminded..Men that are Traitors to God and to men..Men…Men…Oh God !
Now as all these PERILS are
To instruct us, as in Verse 8
speaks of Janes and Jambres, and in
chapter 4 goes on to
Say the time will come when
they will not endure sound doctrine, but HEAP to
them-
Selves teachers, having itching
ears…Teach things they want to
hear, their doctrines,
And their Creeds……Now you
know what God is telling us in this chapter.
May this encourage all that read this to tighten their Grip on
Sound Doctrine, dig a
Little deeper, stand a little
taller, fly a little higher, see a little farther, read a little more,
Pray a little more, and thank
God a whole lot more day by day.
