AND THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU
FREE
John
8;32--And Ye shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you
free.
Let us notice above this and below this to understand what
Truth He is speaking of. That way you get your answer from Jesus Christ and not
men.
Verse 30--And as He spake these words, many believed on
Him.
31--Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, "If Ye
CONTINUE IN MY WORD, then are YE MY disciples indeed:
Now what Truth did He say above this that they believed
that would make them His Disciples, and make them free from Sin? as Verse 33 is
said by them----They answered Him, "WE be Abraham's seed, and were never in
bondage to any man" how sayest THOU, Ye shall be made Free?"
Verse 34-------Jesus answered them, "Verily, verily, I say
unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. (is the servant of
Unbelief). ( Is the servant of his flesh nature he was born in).
35---And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the
Son abideth ever.
36---If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free
indeed.
37---I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill Me,
because MY WORD HATH NO PLACE IN YOU.
38---I speak that which I have seen with My Father: and ye
do that which ye have seen with your Father.
Now notice where this thought starts in verse 19 of Jesus
saying," if Ye had Known My Father, ye would have known Me"
Verse 20 says no man laid hands on Him as His hour was not
yet come.
21---Then said Jesus again unto them, "I go My way, and ye
shall seek Me, and shall DIE IN YOUR SINS: whither I go, ye cannot come."
22---Then said the Jews, Will He kill Himself? because He
saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
23---And He said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from
above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
24---I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your
sins: for if ye believe not THAT I AM HE, ye shall die in your sins.
25---Then said they unto Him, Who Art Thou? And Jesus
saith unto them,"Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.
26---I have many thing to say and to judge of you: but He
that sent Me is True; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard
of Him."
27----(Here comes the answer He wants them to
understand)----THEY UNDERSTOOD NOT THAT HE SPAKE TO THEM OF
THE FATHER !!!
So Jesus is saying to them,"unless you believe I am not of
this world, but the world above, that is your Father
that has come down to make you free from Sin, and inherit
eternal life, and unless you believe that I am Your Father God clothed in flesh
to delived you from Sin, you will die in your sins". Now adultry, stealing,
lying is not sin in this respect; those things are the fruits of unbelief. Those
things are the Attributes of Unbelief, as real believers do not practice that
lifestyle.
So Jesus is saying,"I am the Lamb of God that has came
into the World to die for the Unbeluef, die for the sins of My Family, to die
for the ones that believe in Me, and unless you believe that I am come to take
all the punishment due the believer, then you will die in your unbelief...You
will die in your sins, and not be free from them, but I am come so that you can
be free from your sins and inherit eternal Life." Jesus is saying, "All the
names put on the Lamb's Book of Life, I have come to seek and to save those that
are predistinated", as non-seed cannot be germinated, so if you have that desire
for God, that desire to serve Him, be happy and thankful, as many do not. It has
to be potter-power nor clay power, as cannot you understand the Potter has power
to make a vessell of His own chosing?
Now many people could do better on this subject, but I by the Grace of God
has put this in writing, that the Believer in Jesus Christ will know what Jesus
meant when He said, about the ones that believed in Him would know the Truth and
be set free from Unbelief, be set free from Sin, and be molded more and more
into His Image, and be prepared for the Rapture soon to take place, and go home
to their Father's House to dwell Eternally.
We all need the Sun, as when it shines through the clouds, the birds start
singing, the flower lifts up his head and blooms and oh the scent it gives, the
farmer is glad as his crop grows, and the earth smiles and is glad, as the gloom
and darkness flles away. What about the Light of the world as Jesus shines in
our heart?
Samuel J. Hoban has his poem in his article called, "The Long, Long Trail."
Here is his poem;
One ship goes East,
another West.
With the self-same winds that
blow.
Tis the set of the sail and not the
gale
That desermines the way they go.
Like the ships of the Sea are the
ways of men,
As they journey along Thro' life,
'Tis the set of the Soul that
determines the goal,
And not the calm or the strife.
Amen to the Glory of Jesus Christ both now and forever, Nathan
Miller.
