I want to take a different angle than a lot of people don't consider on the subject of OFFENCE.

 OFF-FENCE.

 Now When Jesus was brought to the Temple in Luke 2;34, you can see Simeon a Devout Man of God,

and the Holy Ghost was upon him, that he said in verse 34 that Jesus was a sign which shall be spoken

against, and many will fall and many rise because of this God-Child.

 Jesus even said one time, that blessed is the one not Offended in Me.

 Remember the four plantings of by the way-side, on the Rocks, in the weeds and in Good ground?

 Look in Matthew 13;18 to see How Jesus Revealed the meanings.

 Notice verse 21---Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when TRIBULATION OR PERSECUTION  ariseth Because of the WORD, by and by he is affended. (Stumbles).

 You know Jesus said if your eye offends you, to pluck it put, for it would be better for one member perish,

than the whole body cast to hell. You see the Pastor is the Eye of the body of believers in a certain city, and

if he preaches something contrary to Sound Doctrine, and will not repent, to cast him out, for it would be better

for one member to perish than the whole church body. It is silly to think your eye could offend your body, and if

you plucked it out, your eye would go to hell, and the rest of your Body go to Heaven, when in Heaven all will

be in perfection.

 The Lord also said if your right hand Brother in the Lord teaches things contrary to the Bible, and the Message

of the Hour, to go to him, and if he will not hear, take another, and if he will not hear, take him before the

Church, and if he will not repent, cast him out, and when tha happens, Satan is free to jump on him, and if he

sees or understands that, and repents, his soul will be saved, but his flesh has been hard punished. If he

repents not, he will be lost.

  So Jesus is saying, if anyone preached false doctrine to a Baby in Christ, a little one to lead him down a

wrong path, it will be better if he had a great stone tied on him and cast into the Sea.

 The Offeence I am talking about is  not like some think of a person hurting your feelings, but about turning

someone away from Bible Doctrines, for if anyone is lost, or suffer tribulations because of what someone

told them, they will be offended..If they are led wrong, then they will be offended.

 Let us look now at this in Proverbs 6;16-These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination

unto Him:

#1---A proud Look.

#2---A Lying tongue.

#3----And hands that shed innocent Blood.

#4---An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations.

#5---Feet that be swift in running to Mischief. (miss-chief).

#6---A false witness that speaketh lies.

#7----And he that soweth discord among Brethern...Offends them...Leads them wrong) (left Sound Doctrine).

Left some Scripture out, or added some doctrine to the Written Word....
