GOD'S PROMISES ARE GIFTS, BUT HAVE CONDITIONS

In John 15 is where we see Jesus saying, If you abide in me, and My Words abide in you, then ask what

you will. See the condition attached to that promise?

He that seeketh, as the eth means right on seeking if you intend to find.

He that knocketh  the eth means keep knocking, as there is a door that can open, if you knock and knock.

He that asketh, and there is that eth again, so you ask, for an answer if delayed, is not denied.

Many people quote this Scripture found in Philippians 4;19--But my God shall supply all your need according

to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.

They fail to put the attachment to this, and the promise fails on their part, as the attachment is found in

verse 15-----Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the Gospel, when I departed from

Macedonia, no Church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

Now can't you see what is connected to verse 19?  Paul is saying this; you supplied my need according to your riches, and so you will be supplied by the Riches of Christ, as you have to reap what you sow, or you

harvest what you plant. Even Mark 4;24 says by the same measure you measure out, is the same measure

I will measure back to you, as Isaiah 3;10,11 says all must receive the fruit of their own doings.

If you forgive others, God will forgive you, and you will not forgive others that sin against you, God will not

forgive you when you sin against Him.

There is plenty more all through the bible, but just let me bring one more witness.

When God delivered Israel from Egypt, he told them I have given you a land flowing with Milk and Honey, so

you just go claim it, as it is my gift to you.

Now when they got there, they saw Giants, and the cities they said was walled up to heaven. They had to

fight for every inch of their Gifted-land that God promised was theirs.

This proves the Many Promises God has given the believer as Gifts, must be fought in Spiritual combat. You

will find every time you try to pray, all kinds of thought will try to make your mind to wonder, so you have to cast

down reasonings, and every thought contrary to Scripture.

Here is what the Scriptures say that is found in 11 Cor.10;1,6.

Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who is presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you.

2--But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

3---For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

4---(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5--Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

6---And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when YOUR obedience is fulfilled.

Look what we have here before us; God is saying if you cast out of your mind every thought against the Promises of God, and stay steadfast in your thoughts, God will revenge all the places in your life where you are disobedient to Him. Every battle is won ot lost by thoughts, as your mind is the battleground where God and Satan is having warfare to gain control.

God loves to defeat Satan using you and me.

When Christ rose from the dead, it was not God's Victory over Satan, as God has never needed Victory in anything. That was our Victory He gave us as a Gift, so let us hold fast His promises, and the Promise will live

in our life.

I desire your prayers.
